David Muir is an American journalist and the anchor, best known for anchoring daily evening television show, ABC World News Tonight. Besides, he is also co-anchor of the ABC News magazine, 20/20.
Earlier, he served as the weekend anchor for the ABC News broadcast ABC World News Tonight and also as the principal substitute anchor of ABC’s World News.
David Muir’s Biography
David Jason Muir was born on 8th November 1973, in Syracuse, New York to a Roman Catholic family which include father-Ronald Muir, mother-Pat Mills, sister-Rebecca Muir, and two younger step-siblings. She grew up in Onondaga Hill where she attended Onondaga Central Junior-Senior High School.
After completing her elementary education from Onondaga, she attended at the Park School of Communications and graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Journalism in 1995.
Later on, Muir attended Institute on Political Journalism at the Fund For American studies at Georgetown University and the University of Salamanca with the Institute for International Education of students subsequently.
