Halima Aden is an American fashion model. She is the first woman to wear a burkini and hijab in Sports Illustrated magazine. She is also the first-ever model to grace the cover of British Vogue, Vogue Arabia, and Allure with hijab. She is also the UNICEF ambassador for children's rights.
Halima Aden was born on September 19, 1997, in the Kakuma refugee camp in Kenya. Her family sold incense and tomatoes in the camp.
