Emmy Award-winning actor, Sterling K. Brown is an undeniable talent who is best known for his role Christopher Darden in the FX drama The People v. O. J. Simpson: American Crime Story. Apart from that, he is also known for his long-term relationship with his girlfriend turned wife, Ryan Michelle Bathe(actress).
Sterling K. Brown was born in 1976 in St. Louis, Missouri, to Sterling Brown and Aralean Banks Brown. He is one of five children: two sisters and two brothers. Brown lost his father at the age of 10. He went by the name, Kelby but he adopted the name Sterling by the age of 16.
Brown was raised in Olivette, Missouri. He attended Mary Institute and St. Louis Country Day School. He graduated from Standford University in 1988 with an acting degree. At first, he wanted to work in business but eventually ended with acting. Then he joined New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts and earned his MFA.
